Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus fraternal society was created on February 6, 1882, when the first members choose Columbus as their patron. The organization encourages and supports lay Catholic men in living out their vocation through the motto "charity, unity and fraternity".

In Ottumwa, the Knights are very active in doing charity work and meet regularly at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 123 W 3rd Street.
